The prices above represent my base rates for non-commercial work. Your commission may vary depending on complexity.Includes a plain or gradient background. More complex backgrounds range from £10 - £70, depending on complexity.Quick sketches can be requested on my Ko-Fi for £5. I endeavor to complete these sketches as quickly as possible
General Terms:- In requesting a commission from me, you have read and agreed to these terms.- Unless otherwise requested and agreed to (in the case of a gift etc.), I maintain the right to share the finished artwork on my social media. In addition, I maintain the right to use your commission for advertising or sample purposes.- Pricing is not fixed and will vary depending on the complexity of your commission. The prices presented on this site are my base rates only.- I maintain the right to reject your commission order for any reason.- All artworks will include my signature which must not be removed.
Payment:- Payment is made via paypal invoice and only in GBP (£)- Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront, or 50% upfront. If you choose to pay half up front, you will not recieve your unwatermarked commission until the final payment as been made.- Do not send me any payment until I have agreed to the commission. Once your order has been confirmed, I will email you an invoice.
Copyright and Usage:I, as the artist:- Maintain the right to cancel and refund your order at any time, for any reason.- Retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork- Will not claim intellectual property of the commissioned artwork- Reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio and other social media accounts.You, the client:- May not claim the artwork as your own or remove my signature from the piece.- May upload the commissioned artwork on any website or social media channel.- May make physical prints of the artwork for personal use- May not use the artwork for commercial purposes unless you have purchased the commercial rights to it.- May not alter the commissioned artwork without the artist's consent.- May request edits or variations to the artwork, with the understanding that this work will incur additional charges.
Refund Policy:- Full refunds are only available before I have begun working on your commission.- Partial refunds of 50% are available prior to the completion of the sketch stage, for commissions over £250 only.- If, for any reason, I determine I am unable to start or finish your commission, I will issue you a full refund.
From you, the cilent, I require a detailed description of what you want for your artwork. Any visual references (moodboards, previous artwork references, stick figure pose sketches etc) are greatly appreciated and will help me to bring your vision to life. Include as much detail as you can.Commissions are typically completed between 2 weeks and a month, unless otherwise stated. Emergency situations such as illness, or highly complex requests can change this. Please inform me if your commission has a tight deadline so I can accommodate you.Final illustrations are typically 3000 x 3000 pixels and suitable for printing. You will receive unwatermarked PNG and JPEG versions of your commissions. I do not currently offer physical prints, though you are more than welcome to make your own, personal, prints.
My Process
My process can be broken down into three stages, with each stage requiring approval from the commissioner before I proceed to the next. At each stage of the commission process, I will provide a watermarked image for you to review. This watermark will be removed from the final product.Thumbnails:
I will sketch a series of thumbnails focusing on posing and composition for you to choose from. Typically in a batch of 4-6 sketches.Sketch:
I will provide a final sketch of your commission. At this stage I offer up to three major revisions to the final sketch. Each revision after the third will require an additional fee. A major revision includes, but is not limited to:- Pose adjustments
- Outfit changes,
- Composition changes.Line art, Colour, and Final Render:
I will provide flat colours of your commission for your approval before beginning the final render. Colour can be altered 3 times at this stage of the commission without further charges. Later I will provide a watermarked copy of your final illustration for approval.
